I had a nice Mother's Day on Sunday. After Jeremy fixed me breakfast we headed up to the Shenadoah Valley to see all of the Grandmas. We met MiMi, Kara and Grandma and Grandad McIntyre for lunch in Waynesboro and then met up with Grandpa and Grandma Grogg for another family get together.
Their was alot of helping hands around that day with everyone wanting to hold and care for the girls, so I kinda of got the "day off" from Mommy duty. It was a long day driving back that evening. Ashlyn was exhausted that afternoon and managed to take in a long afternoon nap while we visited the Groggs. Kennedy refused to nap that afternoon, so after being awake for about 5 hours (but not fussy at all!) she fell asleep pretty quickly in the car on the way home. They were both so happy to get home and into their beds that evening. Napping in a car seat is not fun!
