Atlantic City Races

Last week Jeremy expanded his racing career by entering in the "Gamblers Classic" the Atlantic City Indoor Midget Car Races. Over 200 cars competed in the event in 3 classes in front of about 10,000 fans. Jeremy's class had 70 racers competing for 24 spots in the "A" Main race Saturday night. You have to race your way into the main race by finishing in the top 5 of heat races on Friday night. Jeremy started 14th in his heat race and finished 7th. So he missed the main on Saturday. Teammate Alan Purser of Richmond did make the Main and finished 12th overall. Overall, a pretty good showing. Jeremy and Alan were 2 of only 3 Virginia drivers competing.
