We just spent the last week at Sandbridge Beach with Pop's side of the family. It was nice a relaxing week with everyone. Kennedy and Ashlyn both like the beach better this year than last, but to our surprise Ashlyn was more excited about the ocean than Kennedy. Which was a complete opposite from last year. Ashlyn loved the waves and wanted us to take her out as far as we could go. She also loved to go fishing with Pop and Jeremy. She wanted to help throw in the line, and hold onto the fish that they caught. Kennedy liked the beach but after a while she had enough and was more content sitting in the shade playing in the sand. Kennedy also made a new friend while there, Eric, who was visiting Sara from Northern Va. In the family room of the house there was a mural of the beach with birds flying in the sky, as you can see in the photo above. Kennedy loved that Eric would hold her up so that she could touch and count each bird on the wall. He of course was suckered into it each time she asked. :-) What a great vacation, we were sad to leave but look forward to seeing everyone again soon.
