Shot time

The girls turn 2 months old on Tuesday 13th so it was time to go back to the doctor to get their shots. They both did a lot better than we expected. Kennedy cried more before the shots were administered because she did not like having the nurse hold her legs down. Ashlyn didn't like the overall experience either, but after Jeremy held her for a few minutes she calmed down and fell asleep. Kellie actually got to drive home in a quiet car and stop at the grocery store along the way. The Dr. said that we can start giving the girls apple juice twice a day. Which is sure to taste better than the formula that they are currently drinking. Ashlyn weighs 10.6 pounds and Kennedy 8.1 pounds. Kennedy has to fatten up a little or she will be wearing hand me downs from her little sis.

This weekend we also went to the HRKC annual banquet where Jeremy was awarded rookie of the year. We found a table in the back of the banquet hall to sit and were very happy that the girls did so well during the awards ceremony. I am thinking that for the next couple of years we will try to reserve the back, out of the way tables when we go out.
